All of these tools have restrictions governing the input they will accept.
Two types of input are acceptable "dotted-quads" that is standard IP addresses like 38.103.63.57
and also simple host names like www.yahoo.com, no http:// or other protocol prefixes are allowed for security reasons.

You may not specify a port for any of these tests, except the "NON Standard Ports" tool. The tests default to the standard port for the service.
